Hello Folks! I've never blogged before, but I believe that an old dog can learn new tricks! Let's see if I'm right...
As many of you know, I've been doing stand-up comedy since 1990 or so, headlining all over the country in some of the nation's biggest clubs: Caroline's, The Comedy Store, Zanies and many more. I just love to entertain all the fans, friends, and followers I've been blessed with from being on All My Children for a quarter of a century - and in a way that few would expect...but all seem to love! Would you believe that some folks only know me as a comic? It's true!
Now with the "soap" being all wrapped up (in it's network television version), I have the opportunity to take the show on the road - as they say - and stretch my comedic wings!
And you can follow it all right here! And here's the tour so far:

I'll be blogging about the travel, the performances, the fans, the ups, the downs, the ins and the outs...and any other errant thoughts that meander through my mind! And I'll add pictures and drawings and...who knows what else? This is going to be fun!
So welcome to "Wild and Willey"!
Welcome to the world of blogging! Even though none of your performances will be near where I live, I'm looking forward to reading about your experiences. Maybe one summer I can catch your show.
ReplyDeleteI love that you have begun blogging. It's so much fun. Jackson, sorry I have to call you that, a 41 year fan of AMC, I would love if you would do a show in my hometown, San Francisco or nearby. I'd really enjoy seeing you in person. Until then, I'll be following your blog.
ReplyDeleteOh, the tour has just begun! Have no fear Karen...I'll get close to you!
ReplyDeleteSo when are you coming to Texas??????I know it looks like God hates Texas but it will get better, you can come stay with me!

Walt, Thank you for all your years on AMC, you and your character are/were fun and fantastic to follow. Good luck in your new adventures! Come to southern California, there are a lot of Walt Wiley Fans in our neck of the woods!!!
ReplyDeleteI guess I'll have to wait until you come back home - I'm stuck in Rockford! And I also thank you for your wonderful work on AMC. I've been watching since 1971. Damn ABC!
ReplyDeleteWish you could come to Duluth, MN at the DECC. Thats the closest any of us in Northern Minnesota will ever get. Love you on AMC all these years. ♡♥♡
ReplyDeleteABC must have lost their greedy minds to cancel our soaps! ♡♥♡
ReplyDeleteWalt, just saw you in Chicago at Zanies in St. Charles! First time my husband and I did the "Meet & Greet" It was awesome and very down-to-earth. Can't wait to see you back at Zanies again...
ReplyDeleteI don't know with myself every morning while I get ready for work! As a 41 year viewer (and I'm only 51), AMC is part of the fabric of my life. Years ago I was selected to meet cast at the Soap Opera Bistro (featuring ABC Soaps) at Disney's California Adventure, as a guest of ABC Disney. My husband and I got to sit and have coffee with David Canary, chatted with Cameron Mathison. It was a wonderful experience. You should have been there! You really should bring your show to the left coast. We love you out west!
ReplyDeleteSo thrilled that you have a blog! This is fantastic as I am never on Twitter to follow the rest of the world.
ReplyDeleteThings just haven't been the same since AMC went off, but I am glad that you are bloggin! (I found out about it in your interview in the latest Soap Opera Digest) Thank you!
